Ice Rink

Morzine offers 2 ice rink in winter: an indoor ice rink at the Sports Hall, and an outdoor ice rink, opposite to the Tourist Office.
Daytime opening and evening sessions, hockey matchs, ice skating competitions, ice dancing performances, events...

Contact the Tourist Office directly for details of events or late night openings.

Cinemas

• 2 cinemas in the village.
• Several films each days.
• Programmes available at the Tourist Office.

Horse-drawn carriage tours

• A chance for up to 6 people to see Morzine and its surroundings from the comfort of a horse-drawn carriage.
Choice of many routes.
• Leaves from outside the Tourist Office.
• Prices: from 15 € - depending on the route chosen.

Foxes trail

• Theme-based riverbank walk with information panels the length of the stroll to explain local fauna and flora.
• Open all year.
• Route map available for free at the tourist office.

Snowscooter rides

• Guided snowscoot trip. Driving yourself or passenger with guide.
• Children from 8yrs (passenger only with an instructor).
Driving only for adults.
• Start from Super-Morzine on the road to Avoriaz (near Seraussaix’restaurant). Ski helmet for children is recommended.
• Everyday from 5:30pm to midnight. 
• From 8yrs (age must be proved)



Events


Ski Retrospective and Torch light descent

• ESF instructors demonstrate how skiing and snowboarding have evolved since
1900 in the show, followed by the torch light descent.
• ESF event on the Pleney snow stadium, once a week, with hot mulled wine offered.

Slopeside game

• An organised game on the Pleney and Nyon slopes. The aim is to find riddles hidden around the slopes. Put your answers on the special game sheet and take it back to the tourist office.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Every Tuesday during the winter season.
• This event may be cancelled in case of bad weather.
• Skipass needed to access to the lifts.

Wooden Games and bouncy games

• Board games or puzzles to be tackled alone or as a group, and challenges for
teams include : sumo wrestling, bungee running, justing…
• Every Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30pm in front of the Tourist Office, once a week.
No bouncy games in case of rain.

"Tipi evening"

• Sledging or snowshoeing by night to a mountain "tipie" for a local meal.
